End of match commendation/endorsement feature
Please give us the ability to "endorse" one player at the end of the match. My idea goes as follows:
When you, the player, are finished with the match (either by reaching the end as the killer or escaping/being sacrificed as survivor), you have the ability to give an optional endorsement to another player.
Because players may end the match at different times (like a survivor getting sacrificed early) and may enter another match before receiving the endorsement, you'd have to make some sort of menu where you can view recent endorsements (perhaps a 'Recent Match Details' screen or a 'Notifications' screen). If you're not in the middle of a match, such as on the main menu, you'll receive a notification.
The player receives a message, such as "prettypinkpansy (Dwight) from your recent match gave you an endorsement!". You could create "categories" for endorsements, such as:
Survivor-to-survivor: Self-sacrificing | Good at objectives | Fearless | Smart
Survivor-to-killer: Scary | Great pressure | Creative | Great chases
Killer-to-survivor: Great chases | Funny | Altruistic | Smart
You can anonymize it further if you want, like "A player from your recent match gave you an endorsement" or removing the categories, to avoid trolling.
The biggest thing would be that endorsements would grant a small amount of bonus bloodpoints (something like 3k, 5k, or 10k, not sure), and you can only do it once per match, meaning you pick one person who really stood out to you and give them a bonus! This would go a long way to prevent it feeling like trolling - even if someone is sarcastically calling you a scary killer, they're still granting you bloodpoints. A lot of times I escape against a killer and I want to tell them they did great, but they're not on the same platform. Or a survivor was a total rockstar, but I have no way to praise them.
Imagine having a really frustrating killer match and all four survivors send you points and say you did great. Or you get left on hook and the killer sends you an "Altruistic" endorsement, like acknowledging that your team screwed you over. It would really soften the blow of an otherwise rough match and humanize the people behind the screen.
Oh yeah, and of course you wouldn't be able to give an endorsement to someone who's in the same SWF lobby as you, lol.
