What Is The Scariest Thing(s) You've Experienced In DBD?

DBD is a horror game, but even with it being a horror game, it, for the most part, isnt even that scary past the few hundred hours. But every so often, DBD likes to throw a curve-ball and scary the living daylight out of us.

Personally i think all horror games stops being scary after playing them for long enough, goes for both online games and offline games.
As for the topic of the thread: last time i got jumpscared in dbd was when i had a Survivor who sneaked up on me while working on gen, which in turn caused me to mess up a skill check.

those bulging red eyes appearing from around the corner, instantly fixing on me. she may have looked like a bunny, but I was the prey, indeed.

I was upstairs at Father Campbells church, or whatever, with a friend doing a Gen. We were watching Bubba through a window. Terror radius is working, but I guess we both forget Tinkerer was a thing because near Gen completion, with zero terror radius, God Damn Bubba busts into a room chainsawed revved and swinging. We both screamed and I dropped my controller. I remember to reread Killer perks before I get invited to a random DbD game now.

Honestly, nothing has scared me more than a survivor dropping a pallet on my face that I had no idea was there.

The most scariest thing that ever happened to me (well apart from my first ever match), was when I was playing Killer and a Claudette came out of nowhere and pallet stunned me, we weren't in chase or anything, I hadn't even seen her, I completely screamed out loud in fright lol.

This as well always makes me jump and gives me that “heart attack” feeling. Especially when it’s late night and I’m just mindlessly playing some killer to grind BP.. it literally feels like a near death experience 😂

A good jumpscare factor is when a killer has a quiet walking sounds and is undetectable in indoor maps,I 've been jumpscared and gave jumpscares playing undetectable Huntress,Slinger,Myers.

I got scared by a Cenobite recently. I knew he had the Chatterer's Tooth addon but for some moment I completely forgot he had his terror radius gone. I'm just doing the gen in the house of pain of Badham, turn the camera and he's just standing in front of one of the lockers just watching me on the gen. Scared the life out of me. Seriously could have pulled me off the gen.

I had that happen to me I was going to a Gen to investigate a popped Gen didn't find anyone and I turn a L wall and a Claudette appeared out of nowhere and I attacked from being startled lol
But beat scares I know I gave people is when I play my Shackle/Ear Grandma

I had downed a surv and accidentally opened a locker when I meant to pick up. Lo and behold, a Dweet. Scared the crap outta me, but hey, 2 hooks for the price of one and avoided the Head-On.

The first time going against Scratch Mirror Michael, scared the BEEP out of me.
Another has been an urban evading Gremlin (Nea) sneaking up om me while I was doing a gen. She truly is the Entity.
