How to prevent DBD from crashing?
Hello! The question is simple, but my situation is a little more complex. I play on a PC, with graphics quality set to low. I've updated my graphics card, have made it a priority to give more than enough space for the game on my computer, and on top of all that, this is a relatively brand-new PC (acquired September 2022).
The problem is that I still crash. Not as often, but I do. Specifically on the map with the police lights and suburban looking houses. Due to these crashes, which is both annoying for me and to the players in the match whether I am survivor or killer, I end up getting a time out ban that currently is at 48 hours. This is a consistent problem to the point where I can only play a few games before I crash, and the time out ban is set, yet again, to 24 to 48 hours. I fear the bans will significantly increase if not fixed sooner or later.
How do I prevent DBD from crashing.

P.S. - Here is the map name, and the pop up when said crash occurs. Crashing does occur in other maps, but significantly less. 9/10 I crash on this map.

Penaltys will get worse, I am not sure if these may result into a permanent ban but it might. You have to take a longer break to prevent that from happening so that the timer resets (there is no official statement how long you have to wait until it resets so that people can’t abuse the system as easily..)
your error seems to indicate some problem with the graphic cards driver - are you sure it’s on the most recent update? Try to completely reinstall otherwise.
did you overclock your graphic card? Then disable overclocking and see if error still comes up
have you changed the gameconfig.ini file in any way (FPS or something?) - try to check game files and/or reinstall the game (which you should do anyways)
