PS4 disc to PS5 digital
Can anyone help me out a bit in regards to upgrading from a PS4 disc to a PS5 digital?
I've had the PS4 disc since year 2 of dbd, I play weekly, mostly at weekends and I've spent a good number of hours on it, so I don't wanna lose any perks/progression if upgrading to the PS5 edition.
I'm aware that the disc to disc upgrade is pretty simple, but I'm not sure how to go about disc to digital if that's even possible? Is account binding an option, do I have to repurchase dbd online? It's genuinely influencing which console to purchase, but I'm able to get a digital one for a good price however I need dbd in my life 😅
Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏

I'm not 100% sure, but you might have to get the digital PS4 version and run that, then upgrade that to the PS5 version. You'll lose all troph's but I think the rest of your progress should be there.
