Hex Curses Quality of Life Update
I'll get straight to point. I think you guys need to seriously consider redoing how hexes work for killers in dead by daylight. I say this mainly because in it's current state I think hexes are useless. Great hex, but does not last long at all even with hex undying.
Literally. Pick your hex, without hex undying it will just be cleansed faster than ever. Look at the current state. Pick a hex,....the hex totem spawns across the map exactly where the survivors are setting up shop and boobs. So they are looking for these things. What am I asking then?
Why not have any hex perk you use, when the trial begins have it spawn in a location behind the killer instead on the survivor side of the map. Also, just to give the hex time to actually work before being cleansed during the first 3 minutes of the game, make certain hexes no spawn soon as the trial starts but upon attacking survivors or hooking them activates the hex and lights a full totem somewhere on the map. I think killers would greatly appreciate this type of setup because right now hexes are literally cleansed too fast or found quickly. Start of the game boom...found out in 5 minutes. Undying too. The hex spawned on the survivors and of the map. Across from me.
Recap....
Spawn hexes farthest from survivors as the killer spawns. Spawn hexes behind the killers.
Certain hexes activate after attacking a survivor and lights a dull totem furthest from the killer or survivors current location. This way the hex can actually be used and get some play time. Doesn't matter who I play against, survivors cleanse my hexes at the beginning of the game. It's almost nonsense to even use a hex. Found too fast. I hope you guys do something to better the system for the sake of all the players. Just call this a way of gives hex peeks room to work without being destroyed upon the matches beginning. Thanks.

This doesn't work because if survivors know where the killer spawns, they can figure out where the hexes are very easily.
Also: not quality of life.
