Proximity chat suggestion.
Now I know how toxic the community is and a lot of people might disagree but hear me out.
If proximity chat worked a way where the killer or survivors would make distorted noise as the player talked it would be quite entertaining and add a bit of tension.
Killer side you know the player will be talking nonstop if streaming but would be hilarious if all the survivors heard was grunting or the voice lines. Note bubba making the bubba noise.
Survivor side would force tension to whisper and be quiet if the killer was near. It would also be funny hearing a player yelling across the map that the killers coming but obviously the killer being notified where they are like in a real horror flick. If a survivor is speaking in general the chatter would be nonsense to the killer but if in voice chat like a swf would make sense.
There is so much this could do to help killers to be aware of ignorant survivors yelling and maybe cursing across the field instead of survivors constantly being in Convo without the killer knowing. No feelings being hurt and just fun. Plus I'm sure streaming a solo game will have hilarious results
And if silence is key the pointing and wave actions are still there
