Wiggle times

I'm having a serious problem with Wiggle times, when i play killer, survivors get out of my grip extremely easily even if they aren't using boil over and i'm near a hook, but when i play Survivor i can NEVER wiggle out no matter how far i am from a hook even if using Boil Over and being on the top of Crows map. What's going on?

    You are not supposed to just wiggle out on your own even with Boil Over. The mechanic is mostly there to prevent the killer holding you hostage or having the ability to get a basement or scourge hook everytime.

    if the survs wiggle out frequently when you play killer they either coordinate it well (using Breakout, bodyblocking, sabotage, boil over) or you simply choose the wrong hooks, maybe even change your direction often while carrying?

    Are you playing on console/pc with controller? Then you sadly are more affected by the wiggling as killer, can’t do much against it, some people claim it’s easy to walk sideways in this case eg to get through doorways when the surv has boil over.
