Merciless Killer Fix

At this point trying for Adept/Merciless victories feels useless or impossible. The main reason being that not only do you have to 4K which is a challenge all its own depending on killer and survivors they are against. But the fact that only a single survivor dc'ing nullifies the attempt is unfair for killer. If a survivor dc's or rage quits Killers shouldn't be punished because someone couldn't be a good sport.

When compared to Adept Survivors its night and day. A survivor can do nothing all match and have a killer Dc but get rewarded. If one side gets that kind of. Advantage both should have it. If a survivor quits out it should count as them being hooked 3 times and not penalize the killer.

A survivor disconnecting ruins the Merciless. A survivor crawling to some unknown corner or dead zone and bleeding out ruins the Merciless. And of course there's always the RNG of the hatch.

I was trying to get the adept earlier, and the final survivor crawled god only knows where. It was a Meg, so I closed the hatch under the (correct) assumption they'd have Adrenaline. I had to make that stupid, wrong play to get them back on their feet so I could track them down and make sure they died to the entity or on a hook. It worked... but I didn't get the adept because it turned out that the third survivor disconnecting while on the hook did not count as a kill.

Since when did a survivor disconnecting on the hook not count as a kill? Does that screw up Daily Rituals and Tome Challenges now, too? Or are Adepts in their own unique circle of hell?

I don't know why BHVR went to such lengths to make it so easy for a single survivor to just deny the killer their Adept, but bravo, it's a goddamn misery. Three matches in a row had a disconnect.
