Keep in mind that BHVR also releases event cosmetics but keeps their ingame time below 4 weeks just to ensure that they never cost Iridescent Shards (since they are treated different apparently)... They did it with the Halloween, Christmas, and Lunar New Year stuff. I do not think they care about this promise they made that much honestly.

It’s not exactly 4 weeks counting days, that was apparently just an approximate time frame.
Not really true, Yun-Jins winter outfit (and others) were longer than 4 weeks in the store and stayed auric cell only for that time. BHVR gave an official statement regarding this, event cosmetics will be released as auric cell only and will become shard available kn the next event time frame.
