Feedback: Event Time Limited Cosmetics in the Shop

Dear BHVR,

this is my little feedback to the practice of having certain event themed cosmetics (halloween, winter, lunar, etc) only availabel during a certain time of the year, season or event.

I really dislike this practice cause it keeps me from getting the cosmetics I want. I buy stuff when I feel like it not when there is a specific season going on. A discount for certain cosmetics during the season is nice. But completely barring us from getting them during other times of the year is just annoying and takes a certain amount of fun for mixing and matching different styles away for me.

This was actually the second time BHVR lost out on purchase from my side. Shortly after the winter event, I enjoyed playing mikaela and wanted to get her some nice stuff but then I found out that the skin I'm looking for is a winter cosmetic, so I have to wait an entire year to get it again. Similar situation a few days ago. I enjoyed playing yui and wanted to get her a specific hairstyle. When I was looking for it, I found out that it is part of a lunar set and therefore also not available again until about a year from now.

This practice of removing cosmetics from the store for an entire year is just frustrating. Not saying, OMG CHANGE THIS OR I WON'T PLAY UR GAME ANYMORE. No not at all, I do enjoy playing DBD, though one of the best parts about the game for me is basically dress up with all the different chars, so the removal of certain cosmetics for an entire year, is just very annoying to me.

Would really appreciate it, if that would no longer be the case in the future.

    I do believe so that practice is very anti-consumer and will result in a lot of people not paying cosmetics anymore in what is already a hard game for beginners to get into.

    FOMO is in no way excusable and isn't a guarantee of profits: look at Apex Legends mobile or Rumbleverse having to close down even though they were pretty popular.

    Hoping the higher-up pay attention to us, and stop this nonsense rather doubling down on it.

    Yea I don't like the idea of holiday themed cosmetics being just an annual thing. I'm all for releasing new skins at the time of certain holidays but once they're in the shop I think they should stay there. If not that, I've suggested before a shop rotation where skins would rotate in and out of the shop more often than just the certain times of year they show up.

    If the reason being that there are 'too many cosmetics' in the shop, then I'd propose a system where you can enter a sub-menu of 'Collections', which would only display the skins from those collections in a separate shop menu.
