PC - Unlocking Hatch Killer Unable to Pick Up

Step 1 : Boot the game.
Step 2 : Play as survivor in a public match.
Step 3 : In-game, using the key to open the hatch.
Step 4 : Stopped halfway
through the process because killer downed me.
Step 5 : As survivor I am downed on top of unopened hatch.
Step 6: Notice the killer unable to pick me up cuz I'm stuck in the hatch model.
