6.6.1 Computer Freeze

Ever since I updated my game to 6.6.1 after the game ends and when I'm going back to the main menu, the game freezes my computer and I am forced to restart my PC. I can hear what is happening on the main menu and interact with my mouse, I just can't see it as it is stuck on the loading screen.
So far to try and fix the issue, I have done the following:
- Verified integrity of game files
- Updated graphics drivers

512 GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD
