Adrenaline needs to be gutted

Adrenaline probably has to be the 2nd most popular survivor perk in the whole game, the number one spot is usually reserved for Dead Hard. Adrenaline is downright filthy if every single survivor brings it, it's basically a free escape for the survivors since the killer loses any pressure he previously established. M1 killers are completely screwed by default.
The following two things need to happen to reduce the absurd efficency of this perk:
1) Do not allow hooked survivors to proc the perk after being unhooked.
2) Remove the 5 second speedboost, there's NO reason for survivors to get this on top of a free heal.

Yeah I would like to see how often Adrenaline comes in clutch.

I'm fine with your first suggestion, but the second is a lot to ask for. Adrenaline already has a lot of tradeoff for the benefit it provides. Survivors have to make it to endgame with three perks, and when Adrenaline is activated they can't use their other exhaustion perks for 45+ seconds. People get killed often at endgame due to not being able to Dead Hard or Sprint Burst due to the exhaustion from Adrenaline, and this isn't even digging into how the perk is useless if you were the one on the last generator, or how you personally cannot actually force it to trigger, that's up to someone else. I had to face a 4 Adrenaline swf just yesterday and happened to secure a 2k (yes, in endgame). It's an annoying perk but it is balanced. If Adrenaline annoys you this much there are always optional perks for you to run as well - NOED/Rancor/No Way Out to name a few that work wonders at securing endgame kills especially against Adrenaline users that then have far less options when these are in play. Don't want to run a perk that wont see value until the endgame? Don't complain about those who do.

Y'know, if you're losing to an entire team running only 3 perks, your problem is not Adrenaline.

I only want it to lose its delayed activation while on hook (pick Renewal or Resurgance if you want quick or easy heals off hook) and also lose its interaction with Freddy's power because it's stupid and unnecessary. The speed boost is fine.

I agree that four Adrenalines can turn the tables... but having the potential to turn the tables in the very last stage of the game is kinda what end game perks are all about.
Playing the entire match with three perks to be left with a conditional heal that you likely don't meaningfully benefit from (the killer bringing noed makes it completely worthless, and even if you get the speedbost from being M1-ed it buys you a few seconds at best and since it's endgame there are likely no resources around whatsoever... so the result is the exact same, just 3-10 seconds later, depending on who can hug the longwall tighter). --- Then again; you talk about gutting the perk and I assume what you suggest would do just that and remove the perk from any meta perk list.
Given the track record of actually useful survivor perks being released once in a blue moon this would result in an even shorter list of meta perks and even less build diversity. - And seeing 4x [PERK] seems to be the core issues most people complain about. - And I ask you: would you be as upset about Adrenaline if only one survivor per match - or even one survivor and only every other match - had it equipped?

Meh. I wouldn't mind if it got a slight nerf to make it less popular but both of those nerfs together would be overkill.
I do think it should lose the free wake up against Freddy though, that's just stupid and unnecessary.

Yeah today had ada running adrealine and hope and I downed her almost immediatelly with bloodlust and noed once her speed boost ended. So I think adrealine is fine just use noed if you want to counter it. Also when I don't use noed if I know survivor has dead hard and it's good using it just hit her and force to use it so she does not get healed. Unless I can 100% bait it out but few times I have gotten hit by adrealine while doing that...

The problem might be that I'm playing a D tier killer.

Yeah, imagine if they had all brought something like Self-Care! Or Urban Evasion! Then they would have lost even harder.

The solution is to buff the struggling killers, not gut every single chance survivors have against a stronger killer.

It's an end game perk, it needs to be powerfull.
Killers have NOED as their end game comeback perk.
Honestly, the only dumb thing about adren is the fact that counters Freddy's power just for lore reasons
