When are they going to fix the flashlight bug when killer breaks pallets?

As stated above, when??? It's been in the game for almost half a year now, and made me stop using flashlight almost all the time. When the killer breaks the pallet they get some sort of "lightborn" and you can't blind them. It just make you use up your flashlight and not blind the killer and then the killer is right on you and you get hit.
