Thoughts on co-op killer power?
So this idea might be too crazy but I’m wondering what people would think of a killer power that allows a friend to join you, like imagine if 4 friends could play The Legion together. Something like that, would this be a good killer power, would it even work?
Imagine a horde killer and you can get a friend or two to control one of the zombies or a scarecrow killer where you and your friend can swap through different scarecrows on the map.

I think it could be possible, but you would have to make a special game mode or make it locked specifically to an event. Having only 4 survivors going up against anything other than 1 killer would tip the scale so heavily in the killers favor that it would break the game in its current state. If you created a map that was HUGE and increased the number of survivors to 6 or even 8, then MAYBE I could see you getting away with 2 killers being in the same game.
Maybe in the future we will see silly daily or weekly game modes that are purely for fun and earning a lot of blood points and or cosmetics for both sides. Or maybe we will see the a whole new game mode entirely who knows.
I also think that you would have to build a killer from the ground up for this. There aren't really any killers in the game aside form maybe The Twins that I could see having interesting game play or interaction from a gameplay standpoint with this. The Twins being able to work simultaneously would be a lot more interesting and fun for the killer, and hopefully the survivor, but ultimately that's what needs to be prioritized, the fun. As much as it would make me laugh manically to see even just 2 legions chasing after survivors in the game, I just cant see it being fun for the survivors. But it is an interesting concept.

Fare, but when I said 4 legions I meant because there are 4 of them in lore

People have wanted a 2v8 game mode for a long time. iirc, the devs have said they have no intention to add anything like this to dbd, but that was a couple years ago so you never know!

I’m more or less talking about a power that implements co-op and less of a gamemode

I'm not sure how possible that is. I'm not a coder but that seems like it would require some serious work to actually work. Twins is already a pretty buggy killer because of the way they work. Cool idea though, nonetheless

I feel like if The Twins was 2 players they may either be relatively well balanced or even overpowered.
I think it could be a good experiment.

Better to just make an entirely new game that is intended to be 2v4 or 2v8 from the very start.
That would be the game that is actually a competitor: a straight-up DbD clone with co-op killer.

Would love that but that killer would have to have some limitations. Probably slower movement speed and other killer should be unable probably to down survivors just injure. And anything more than 2 killer players would be too much so no 4 legions definetely not.
