Achievements not achieving

My display on the character villain/page for my current achievement goal suddenly disappeared. I've attemptemed different achievements but nothing I do registers. i.e. I was going for the purple glyph achievement, I successfully hunted down a purple glyph and interacted with it, but at the end of the game the achievement counter still registers zero purple gylphs. Please advise.
