Better Healing Rework Suggestion

  • Altruistic Heals are 16 seconds by default, but consume 24 charges (Med Kits deplete faster when being used for altruistic healing)
  • Self Heals are 24 seconds by default and consume 24 charges

Each of the Med Kit versions should feel unique, that´s why I decided to make the following suggestions :

Camping Aid Kit (Common) 

  • Altruistic Healing speed increase by 20% (~13 seconds)
  • Normal self heal speed (24 seconds)
  • 24 charges (1 heal)

First Aid Kit (Uncommon) 

  • Altruistic Healing speed increase by 20% (~13 seconds)
  • Self Healing speed increase by 10% ( ~ 21 seconds)
  • 24 charges (1 heal)

Emergency Med-kit (Rare) 

  • Altruistic Healing speed increase by 20% (~13 seconds)
  • Self Healing speed increase by 20% ( ~ 19 seconds)
  • 24 charges (1 heal)

Ranger Med-kit (Very Rare) 

  • Altruistic Healing speed increase by 30% (~11 seconds)
  • Normal Self Heal Speed (24 seconds)
  • Skill Check success zones increase by 10% 
  • Great Skill Check zones increase by 10%
  • 30 charges (1.25 heals)

Basically the yellow and green med kit will just self heal a bit faster, otherwise they are the same like the common one, the ranger med kit is the only one with a better altruistic healing speed boost and has a bit more charges, this will make it good for healing other Survivors, but it´s not a jack of all trades. This would still be a massive nerf to med kits without making the different rarities completely insignificant.


Self Care:

A Self Heal with Self Care will take 36 seconds and not 6 million years
