New Killer Ideas and Concepts!
Here is a few killer concepts from a horror fan: horror being the key word that DBD so desperately need to bring back!
So with this in mind, here's a few NON-HUMAN killer concepts to get ideas going:
▪︎Spider mother
yes, a gigantic terrifying spider with dozens of spider underlings. (Yikes) or anything swarm-related. Or it can be a huge praying mantis, a huge fly, a huge mosquito. Bugs are terrifying, use them. And make sure it has a lot of that bug-like eyes.
▪︎Sea monster/ a Siren:
This killer can have a lullaby like the huntress and sing out to survivors. They can put survivors in a luring trance to their demise. Perceived as a beautiful maiden, but turns out to be a much more deadly hideous monster. Or it could just be a classic sea monster inspired by pirates of the carribean. It would be cool to have a gigantic sinking shipwrecked titanic-inspired ship map along with this kind of killer.
▪︎a skinwalker:
A creature that can disguise as one of the survivors up until they attack and are in chase (time to brew some trust issues, how sus). Cool gross deshedding animations could be in order for such a killer. This will stir up a lot of trust issues and fear among the survivors. It is important that the killer can easily hide their presence again after being exposed or after being in chase (stealth). This kind of killer will require to be well thought-out and requires lot of strategy from both sides which can make it fun if well designed. This killer could be in a farm-themed patch, as it can be inspired as the mysterious monster that attacked and killed farm animals. It would also be cool if this kind of killer's true form was extremely boney and thin.
▪︎a mannequin/doll
This type of killer can be very tim-burton inspired, and could be the doll-maker or mannequin maker themselves. In their backstory they could have made dolls/mannequins out of humans and now seek to do so with the survivors. With this in mind, there will obviously have to be a lot of life-sized dolls all over the map. Who knows which one will attack you? (Bonus points if some of the dolls have their eyes following you and if the killer can leave the corpses of the dead survivors as dolls after mori'd)
A swamp/lake monster:
Imagine being in a lake or swamp and suddenly feeling something tickle your feet and pull you into the water. With this in mind, a creepy swamp creature would fit here. Survivors could get stuck in muddy waters, and similar to quick sand slowly sink and continue to sink especially if they move unless another survivor rescues them. This type of monster can be inspired by the loch ness monster. It could look similar to a huge anglerfish that grew a pair of legs/arms. A horrendous monster that is speedily crawling after survivors with only two arms sounds awesome and terrifying.
A medusa-inspired killer:
If you look at the killer for too long, you turn to stone. Thus, leaving the survivor terrified. "Don't look behind you" would play such a huge role for this killer. I think a classic Medusa would be very interesting. Snakes can be terrifying. Not very original, but terrifying.
The above are all just concepts and ideas and can be changed. I hope these ideas can be considered when making new killers!

A non-humanoid Killer is a great Idea. Especially since the last three Killers basically look almost like normal Humans.
- Wesker is fine. He was the only one back when he came out and has unnatural Powers. He's fine. And he's a iconic Resident Evil Character.
- The Knight was also fine too i think. He's bigger then any Surivors and has a "uncomfyl" Design and Powers/Servants.
- The Skull Merchant really is a normal Human with Amazon Delivery Drones that hover around
I agree, it's time for a Monster (Or a good licenced Character) and BHVR need one of that to keep the game alive, since the umcoming Patch is a Disaster for Killers and Surivors (I really really REALLY hope they won't go live with it...)
Your Ideas are great, some a bit too generic, but I really like the Spider/Bug like Idea.
A skinwalker is a Idea since the game came out. The Legion was probably one at some Point in Development, since its heavily implied in the Trailer. The thing is, that a Skinwalker is impossible to balance. In Solo Queue he would be way too strong and in a Squad he would be completly useless.
