Future killer update that should become real - Weak killers improvements

As a player who's tired of always facing Wesker/Spirit/Nurse/Blight, I would love to see more killer variety, so let's talk about some weak killers that could be buffed for a better gameplay in a future update with some basequit improvements

The Trapper

  • Starts with all the traps as basequit (gameplay improvement)
  • Now has 2 extra traps as basequit
  • The first trap each survivor desarms for the first time make the survivor to become injuried (just happens 1 time) with the iridescent addon they continue to get injuried each time they desarm a trap

The Nightmare

  • Survivors that fail a skill check now suffer from the Blindness Status Effect for 60 seconds instead becoming awake + they can only awake themselves after being in the dream world for 45 seconds
  • Survivors who drops a fake pallet become exposed for 1 minute (basequit)
  • Dream Snares now has 5 charges instead of 3

The Pig

  • Crounch movement speed increased 10% (basekit) + 10% with John's Medical File addon
  • Survivors can only see jigsaw boxes when the reverse bear trap is activated (basequit) replacing the effect of Rules Set No.2 addon now makes the survivors to have the oblivious state until the trap is removed)
  • Ambush dash range increased/movement speed + ambush charge now its 10% faster by default

The Shape

  • Stalk range increased
  • Increases the duration of Evil Within by +15 seconds default (+30 seconds with addon)
  • Increases the Stalk rate on the Obsession by 15% default (40% with the addon)

The Twins

  • Survivors locked in a locker by Victor now demands 20 seconds to break free
  • After being injuried by Victor the survivor now suffers from Haemorrhage and Mangled Status Effects
  • If a survivor crushes Victor while he is idle, they suffer from the Exposed Status Effect for 45 seconds (basequit) + 45 extra seconds with Iridescent Pendant addon

The Trickster

  • When Trickster is out of blades he instantly becomes 4.6 (survivors now receive a voiceline notification)
  • Each time The Trickster recharges blades on the locker he gains 5 extra blades (can only happens 3 times) 15 extra blades on total after 3 recharges
  • The Trickster now gains a 5% speed buff after injuring a survivor with the blades for 15 seconds

The Wraith

  • Reduces Uncloaking time by 10% (basequit)
  • Increased the Action speeds for breaking Breakable Walls and Pallets , damaging Generators , and vaulting Windows by +10 % while cloaked (basequit)
  • Speed boost after uncloaking increased by 0.5 seconds (basequit)

The Onryo

  • Survivors that finishes to repair a generator now increases 2 Condemnation stacks
  • Unhooking a survivor now increases 2 Condemnation stacks
  • The Onryo does not suffer anymore from the slow cast after manifesting + gains a small buff speed for 1.5 seconds

I really hope some of these suggestions come to the game someday. What would you suggest to buff weak killers in a future update?

    Trapper should not start with all Traps. They should all spawn closer to the center of the map though. Basekit Iri is also probably not a good idea, but it isn't the worst suggestion

    Survivors should not be Exposed after dropping a dream pallet.

    These Myers buffs do nothing to fix any of his issues.

    Survivors should not be Exposed for crushing Victor.

    I think the speed boost is too much on Wraith.

    The gen Condemnation is fine, Unhooking Condemnation isn't.


    If I didn't comment on things, it means I agree.

    I think all Trapper traps should load into every trial in the set and locked position. You'd still have to manually pick up ones you want elsewhere, but at least they'd enter play with some use.

    any low tier killer buff is welcome for me because this would incentivate more people to play with them, and they should nerf tier S killer addons like the blight ring, these tier S killers are already good enough and they don't need op addons to win

    Freddy with fake pallets is already enough braindead gameplay, it doesn’t need a buff.

    For Trapper I would add that it would be great if some traps spawns could be useful so he won’t need to move these traps. Like spawn under pallets or windows, especially under abusive windows.

    Ooh I play wraith, I can give you some feedback on Wraith for sure.

    The Wraith

    Why do you think the speed boost was nerfed in the first place? If you do this Wraith will become immensely oppressively even with an additional 10% uncloaking time. Be careful what you ask for is what I say. Thats not to say Wraith could not use some more.

    But lets start with 1% at the time?

    You have to be careful buffing trapper, because he's absolutely obnoxious already if played meanly.


    As said above, wraith's uncloaking speed boost probably shouldn't be buffed. It's already good enough at small loops to guarantee a hit.



    As a twins player, I don't think those twins buffs are good ideas.

    Healing's already getting nerfed, so I think victor doing those things for free is unnecessary. The iri becoming basekit is a weird idea, I don't know what it's attempting to solve? It's a pretty good addon too, just situational. For lockers, I think victor should just straight up take a health state from the survivor in a locker upon them breaking free, along with removing the ability to 99 the locker (you can't 99 victor normally, so why here?) That'd fix the two issues of a locker being a free escape if twins isn't close and survivors being able to hold victor hostage with the locker.


    Otherwise the only thing I want for twins is some faster action speeds. When you down someone with victor there's a period before you can switch to charlotte, and then waking as charlotte takes awhile, and it just feels clunky and annoying. Twins is a weird killer with a gameplay and aesthetic that will never appeal to many people, and that's okay, I'm happy just making her a bit better rather than wanting her to be popular. Trust me. You would regret it if she became popular.



    Be careful with those onryo buffs because condemn builds are nutty, throwing those on top will make it even worse. I would agree if the relevant addons got nerfed, though. The idea I actually heard for onryo that I really like is the idea that when she's not manifested, she has noclip and can walk through walls, however, she can only begin demanifesting once she's in a "valid" spot. I really wanna see how that works out, and we can re-use nurses collision detection to make it easier code-wise to do and obviously she shouldn't be able to leave the map. It'd be an interesting take on a stealth killer to have it be a ghost who just walks through walls and manifests to kill you.
