We need a tutorial that explains the fundamentals of the Game.

What is a loop?

How do I Mindgame?

What is a 3 Gen?

When do I hide

Whe n do I do which gen?

Etc. Pp.

And this tutorial, including 5 bot matches against bot killers/survivors that rise in difficulty each match NEED to be completed, before you are able to queue into real games.

And Yes, 5 Games per side.

Or maybe 6.

2 beginner

2 intermediate

2 advanced difficulty

The amount of ppl playing this game without a single clue of the mechanics is horrendous...

Game is balanced around new players, for the most part

A good tutorial gets players on their feet ready to go. Preferably by example rather than walls of text like Shovel Knight did, but I understand that's rarely reasonable.

Nobody is going to sit on a tutorial that's on it's third hour going "Ok, so when the killer is chasing you here, you have to sometimes trick them into going a direction that you're not going to be". That's just unreasonable, especially on developers.

The tutorial could certainly incorporate some new things, like totems, and it needs to fix that bug where you can free yourself, but it's otherwise fine as is.

Tutorials don't always equal an increase in player skill. Many things you just don't learn and master until you are actually in those situations, and every single one those will always be different (in PvP modes) because you just can't predict everything that's going to happen. Should tutorials have some updates to reflect changes in a game, yeah sure, but skill is something a player will get over time, not in a forced scripted environment.
