Post-PTB Dev Update is amazing (thank you)
Sooo I honestly thought a lot of the controversial changes would be toned down but never did I dare imagine they would be reverted.. Imagine my surprise when reading the dev update. I never expect anything good reading those (sorry), but holly molly didn't yall get everything right this time? (or well close enough)
Healing changes: Praise the entity for the base speed change being reverted. The med-kits changes, including add-ons, sound really good as well.
Self-Care related thoughts: I only have one concern now, which is maybe self-care is overdue for a buff ? I understand altruism should be prioritized and rewarded but now that the self-healing means are significantly worse and well, pretty bad (which isn't a bad thing in itself!), maybe the perk that allows you to self-heal shouldn't be that bad? I don't want it to be as quick as healing someone else of course, but maybe speed it up a little, or add an effect to counter the med-kits' new downsides for self-heals?
Hillbilly: Praise the entity for the add-ons changes being reverted, but I hope you took notes about how a killer shouldn't need to rely on add-ons to be fun to play, and that we will see changes related to that in the near future.
Dead Hard: I personnally had brushed away the concerns about killers tunneling to avoid Dead hard, but if you received enough feedback about it I assume it was a legitimate cause of concern and I'm thankful you went an other way about the nerf. I also understand it means DH was nerfed further, with it being used twice per game & survivor at most. I personnally don't mind because I like perks being limited in their uses rather than being made less good but I certainly hope this doesn't set precedent for nerfing every exhaustion perk that becomes popular following the update.
Mettle Of Man related thoughts: Considering MoM was nerfed right after being made fun again because it was too strong with DH, now that DH is probably as nerfed as it's ever gonna be, could MoM be changed back to be like in whatever PTB / Update that made it fun again?
SH: Pain Res: I was really happy about the changes and am glad you didn't revert them, but I agree the regression needed a buff so i'm glad it got it. However I still wonder if it's necessary for this perk to stay a Scourge Hook perk, considering it's now limited in its uses in two different ways.
CoH: Myself and many other people asked for this, I have nothing to say about this other that I'm glad the changes were kept but the speed was buffed. Really nice, thank you.
Autohaven Wreckers: This seems good as well, but we'll see how it plays live.
I genuinely can't see anything to complain about in this update, all the things I was worried about have been fixed, and I'm actually pretty excited about the update now, so thank you devs for listening :)
(also unrelated but still relevant : please delete Calm Spirit's penalty)
