My issue with the medkit changes
Why did they remove the bp bonus from the needle and suture? They were some of my favorite addons because of the bp bonus. It was a nice incentive to try to hit the greats. I get the other nerfs but why take my bonus bp away?

They actually mentioned this on Twitter yesterday after tweeting about the changes from the PTB.
Both of those addons will still have an incentive for great skill checks though, they now increase the great skill check bonus when you hit them by 5% (Needle and Thread) and 10% (Surgical Suture).

Whilst we get that you felt it was a nice incentive. The whole point in removing the BP bonuses from perks and addons etc, is to allow players to try other things rather than feeling the need to use those cos of the BP bonuses. With BPs being a lot easier to get now, with things in the bloodweb costing significantly less - there's already many ways to get BPs now.

I think BP bonuses should be removed from all perks and items, except No Mither should have a BP bonus considering it's an intentional "hard mode" perk.

While I get the idea I didn't feel like I needed to run them. I liked running them because it helped fill out survival point which are pretty slim pickings. Hell that was half the reason I ran a medkit.

I'm gonna be sad if this means they're eventually going to remove the BP bonus from prove thyself without buffing the amount of BPs you get from repairing gens solo. Survivor BPs are already insultingly low compared to what killers get. Especially considering there is never a bonus anymore. Most categories don't feel THAT bad but the BPs you get for doing gens are way too low. It feels bad to sit on a gen and only get 1250 bps for 90 seconds.

It's basically the only reason I run PtS.

But, the add-ons are all same-y, all of them are just increase that, decrease this, how do you expect people to use different add-ons when there are 4 versions of each that gets better with rarity?
If there were add-ons like:
- While healing others or yourself, they or you don't emit grunts of pain (rare)
- While holding a Med-Kit, you see the aura of injured Survivors (very rare)
- While healing with a Med-Kit, Skill Check trigger odds are increased by 15%, hitting a great Skill Check reveals the Killer's aura for 5 seconds (very rare)
- Skill Check triggers odds are decreased to 0% (common - for new players)
- While healing others, press the active ability button to give them a speed boost of 150% for 3 seconds, this consumes the med-kit (ultra rare)
Just a few examples, just not things like: increases healing speed by 5% woohoo.
