The Demogorgon Add-on changes
My goal is to replace the same old boring, exposed, status, aura reading, and other useless addons. I have some ideas to make things more fun for the Killers and Survivors to open up to more unique gameplay ideas.
Brown Addons
-Rotten Pumpkin: Now Basic hit lunge increased 20%, shred lunge decreased by 20%.
-Black Heart: Remains unchanged.
-Rat Liver: Remains unchanged.
-Rat Tail: Now increases the Opening speed of Portals by 50%
Yellow Addons
-Sticky Lining: Now after a survivor removes a portal, they are reveal by killer instinct for 3 seconds.
-Viscous Webbing: Remains unchanged.
-Rotten Green Tripe: Now Basic Hit cooldown is reduced by 15%, shred cool down increased by 15%.
-Mew’s Guts: Now opened portals now give haste and undetectable status effects for 10 seconds while standing on them.
-Barb’s Glasses: Remains Unchanged.
Green Addons
-Eleven’s Soda: Now charging Of the Abyss power will also reveal survivors with Killer Instinct within 8 meters of you.
-Thorny Vines: Remains unchanged.
-Brass Case Lighter: Now after a successful shred hit, while not standing on a portal but looking at a portal, tapping the secondary power button closes it, holding the secondary power button gets rid of the portal completely.
-Violet Waxcap: Now after a successful shred hit, getting stunned by a pallet will immediately break the pallet. Still go through stun animation.
-Deer Lung: Now while out of portals, The Demogorgon’s movement speed is increased to 120%.
Purple Addons
-Lifeguard Whistle: Now an opened portal within 16 meters of a generator will regress gen progress by 100%. Successful basic and shred hits near opened portal closes it. This effect continues until portal is removed or closed.
-Vermilion Wedcap: Now after a successful shred hit, all portals placed down will open and reveal survivors with 16 meters with killer instinct for 10 seconds. All portals that weren’t open before will be closed again.
-Upside Down Resin: Now survivors within 16 meters of an opened portal will given the blindness and oblivious effects. In addition, they’ll be in darkness when near opened portal. (Similar to The Dredge’s Darkness)
-Unknown Egg: Now Traversing in the upside down is now instant. Must go through opening portal animation first.
Iridescent Addons
-Leprose Lichen: Now after breaking a pallet or wall with shred, your next basic used on a pallet or wall will break it. Will go through missed hit animation. Unsuccessful basic and shred hits will cause you to lose it and successful basic and shred hits will not.
-Red Moss: Now survivors within 16 meters of an opened portal will hear a mock terror radius coming from it and scream periodically. Adds 2 more portals. Closing portal will stop the effect.

Black heart- Feels required for heavy m2 usage. Should be 2.7 on shred with heart at 7.5% so it opens up more options for add-ons imo
Rotten green tripe- Just seems like a problematic add-on for stbfl.
Violet Waxcap- Broken. You just run this with enduring.
Deer Lung- Place all portals to get bl1. His chase is already strong and having that extra ms seems a bit much
Unknown Egg- Instant TP is really bonkers. Being able to go from one side of the map to the other in 1.5 seconds is really insane.
I like like both his current ultra rare add-ons

Those addons are pretty OP. Good intention, but those are unfair. Free spirit fury? No way. Faster attacks and 20% basic lunge? Too much.
Both actual iris are good.
As much i would like that:
- Soda last 3 seconds like lichen.
- Fuse Waxcap(0,5 is nothing) and Webcap (3 sec is ok) undetectable addons into one green and create a new one purple. Your "Upside Down Resin" could be a good purple one.
- Moss also supress your scream when you stary digging.
With those 3 and give demo a button to destrouy his own portals i would be very very very happy.

You would also want to avoid making the Demogorgon too OP as unless the Devs bring back the licence for everyone to be able to purchase it again; then only the limited number of players that already own the content would benefit from the changes. Of course I'm not saying the killer shouldn't get any adjustments, just yeah you want it accessible to everyone to keep it fair right.

if you were to balance these add ons similar to the devs, how would you?

Devs have changed design of addons from previous killers from now. Before they have an brown/yellow/green that work the same but with bigger numbers +3%/+7%/+10% of whatever killer do. Now they give brown small but 1 usually is pretty usefull effect and no addons repeat.
Also no addons change basic stats of killer besides movement speed. No lunge, attack speed or stuff like that.
The thing about your addons is that they cant be tunned down, instateleport, spirit fury, breack pallets and dont stop, ruin on demand etc... Its not about numbers.
Based on that and i think Demo is mostly fine, but he could have some way of destroying his own portals and some addons tweak.
Brown
-Rotten Pumpkin: Destroy portals faster (he can in this example) and close survivors (12-16m?) are revealed with Killer Instinct/scream.
-Rat Tail: Now increases the Opening speed of Portals by 50% (Yes, why not.)
Yellow Addons
-Viscous Webbing: Because we have upside down resine, this could do other thing. Like 5% haste after touching a portal for 5-10 sec like skull merchant.
Green
-Eleven’s Soda: Effect last 3 seconds like lichen.
-Violet Waxcap: Fuse Waxcap(0,5 is nothing) and Webcap (3 sec is ok) undetectable addons into one green(4 extra sec in total?) and create a new one purple. (Mews Guts)
-Deer Lung: Now it doesnt remove 2 portals. (WHY?)
Purple
-Unknown Egg: Now survivors within 16 meters of an opened portal will given the blindness and oblivious effects. In addition, they’ll be in darkness when near opened portal. (Similar to The Dredge’s Darkness). (I dont like actual egg and some use of dredge nightfall is very cool. Really love this one).
Rest of the addons i would keep it the same for demo as they are now or slight numbers up.
I mean, this is just for fun speculation, bhvr is not going to change demo in any shape or form until they somehow have again demo lisence.

Demo’s addons can’t be touched due to him technically being out of the game I’m afraid. I don’t think they’re allowed to change anything about him that is not “basekit” changes, that’s why he has not been touched ever since ST license was taken out.

No, I was wrong indeed! I watched an interview of MCote where he says they're allowed to change his addons (they already did recently with some of his addons if I am not wrong?). I doubt they would ever give him a new power or anything like that (rework), but for sure they're allowed to change his addons and numbers in his base kit to prevent holes and flaws in design as the game evolves or some kind of exploits!
