Possible solution for face camping, that's rather simple and already in the game. (idea)

you know that change they did for Pinhead where the box teleports if you standstill on it for 15 seconds? (might be wrong on the duration) Why not do that for face camping? Do essentially what PyramidHeads ability does and teleport that hooked player to the other side of the map. It's too close to a survivor? Tough, you shouldn't be camping at point blank range for x amount of time (say 60 seconds? 30?) Just random thought.

No survivor or killer bashing ffs, just wanting a fair game for both sides, even as -le-shock- a killer main.

Trust me a lot of people have tried to say that the pyramid head cage idea would be the best for hook camping but most of the community don’t see as a thing that can happen especially since it is exclusive to him only. I’ve tried to discuss something similar and it got shut down really quickly 😅

I disagree on the basis it takes the last horror elements out of the game. Take this scene from TCM, Pam was captured by Bubba, but because Leatherface remained in the room for 30 seconds. Pam was magically teleported out of the basement and unto a hook in the courtyard. Its just strange, laughable and not every scary at all. Tho this might be an admirable perk for Survivors.

I thought you as Survivor had signed up to this possibility, that you are basically vulnerable to the marginations of the Killer.

If bHVR put in such a basekit ability for Survivors, I think they should have spent the time making Killerbots, because completely removing any chance for the Killer to threaten the Survivors other than chase upon chase upon pallet upon pallet is an extremely bad idea.

What bHVR should do instead is making interactions between Killer and Survivors, actions that can be taken WITHOUT PERKS for the remaining Survivors to save the Camped and Tunneled Survivor. That would be much more interactive than any dull automatic system, but it would require a lot of work to re.imagine the game around it and it would also require a rebalance of all Killers too. Here are some ideas:

Reckless Tackle - If the Killer is within radius of the hooked Survivor tackle the Killer to stun them and put their power on cooldown. Survivors must be sneaky to avoid being heard as they approach as m1 is still a danger.

Item Stun - Desperate situations require desperate actions. Throw item at the Killer, destroying item and stunning/darkening their screen based on the remaining charges, too few charges does nothing. toolboxes stun, med kits explode in gauges making vision hard.

Turning tunneling and camping into things that players can play into and out of is a much better to solution to the unimaginative stalemates that Camping and Tunneling certainly is at the moment.

Unlike PH cages, the killer has to take time and select the hook the survivor is on. I don't like this idea, because hook placement is important for building pressure. And in cases that survivors force you to stay by the hook, I don't see it fair to punish the killer by teleporting the hook away.

I'm fine with removing hook grabbing as it'll remove the ######### game of try to bait the killer to hit you so you can rescue.
