New Dead Hard
I was wondering how the new Dead Hard works. It now activates when you’re unhooked (or unhook yourself) but what if you’re healed without using it…is it still available the next time you’re injured?

Yes, being unhooked or unhooking yourself activates the perk - so it stores it. If you are healed and haven't used it - it's ready for the next time you are injured and need to use it.

But i would like to know if you use dead hard out of the blue with no killer around. Will you be able to use it again once exhaustion is over? This was addressed in the very 1st dev patch notes however, in the ptb it was bugged to not reactivate if you just use dh and the killer doesnt hit you.
So this is causing alot of confusion in the community that you can only have max 2 dh when you may be able to use it more than twice in a match

It’s been confirmed that once used - regardless if you got hit in time by the killer or not - the activation goes away. It was just badly worded in the PTB patchnotes and work as intended
