Unhooked survivor gets teleported to Skull Merchant Drone when unhooked??

My friend got hooked and then when they got unhooked they spawned on the drone. The photo is of them mid-unhook animation. I'm very sure they aren't a cheater and even he was confused then everyone DC'ed. Could it be due to the fact I pallet stunned her maybe?
