PS4 Throttled Movement
This has been an issue plaguing me for years, please tell me there is even 1 other person who can corroborate this. Off and on when I play this game, as killer or survivor, regardless of my controller, or my input bindings. Whether or not I am on WIFI or Wired Connection. When I move, it's like my movement stops and starts and stops and starts.
I literally play Killer where the SURVIVORS ARE FASTER THAN ME!!!!
This is unbearable, I want to just quit this game, this is so insanely unplayable I can't even, I have posted about this before too and it went completely unanswered and unnoticed.
This is insane to host a game with this large a bug for this long....

If your stick isn't registering all the way up to 100% when pushing forward you will not run at full speed. Plug your controller into a PC and you can test whether it stuttering between 100% and 99% or less in Control Panel. This will probably be more noticable when pushing up left or up right.
You can fix this if you are on PC by using DS4 Windows and reducing your Max Zone. Mine is set to 0.90.
If BHVR are interested in fixing this, they just need to count pushing forward to 90% as running. There is no reason not to do this as there is a run button. If I am pressing that I probably want to run at full speed. I can't imagine a scenario where I want to run halfway between walking and running speed.

I’m fairly certain I’ve had this problem on two different controllers one of them a brand new one, not to mention sometimes it just stops being a problem for a month, than the game updates and bang it’s a problem again… sigh
If only I could afford a PS5

I've had this on numerous PS4 controllers. I have a pile of controllers that can be used for anything other than DBD.
Fortunately I haven't had this happen on PS5 (yet?)

I had this on an Xbox Series controller and it had only been replaced a month prior. Luckily it was still in warranty.
