Trapper's power glitched and couldn't place traps for the rest of the game

I was playing Trapper on Coal Tower, and was using the Iridescent Stone and Makeshift Wrap addons. After placing a couple traps, I tried to place one inside the shack near the window, but it wouldn't allow me to. At this moment it seems the ability glitched and it wouldn't allow me to place traps on the ground anymore. I was still able to reset traps already on the ground and I was able to pick up one trap to reach the carry limit.
If it's of any help, the shack (where it started) had the basement beneath.
