Some Parting Observations
Before I uninstalled DBD for the last time, I logged my last 20 Survivor games
I was looking to see if my actual experience was matching my perceived experience, or if my opinion of the game was largely being influenced by the wave of negativity surrounding the recent update.
I don't want to provide too much commentary around the data, although I do have a few closing thoughts. I know some people will be quick to tell me 20 is a small sample size, and I agree with you. However, 20 matches is a considerable amount when deciding whether or not a game is enjoyable.
Without further ado...

Closing Thoughts
These 20 games roughly equated to 6 hours of play. With 40% of my games having at least one player giving up, that translates to about 2.5hrs of wasted time. Adding insult to injury, the Killers in each 'rage quit game' were what I would describe as callous. There was zero sympathy shown to any of the remaining survivors for their situation, and on several occassions the Killer would take every opportunity to BM their opponent.
In every game where more than one survivor escaped, I took the killer on a 2+ minute chase. I enjoy feeling like I've made a meaningful contribution to my team's success, but currently it feels as though my team depends on me for their success. In other words, I'm terrified to see the Kill Rate in lobbies devoid of a player with my experience.
Advice for Survivors: If you have Distortion, please use it. Aura perks are back in town.
Advice for Killers: Consider using Cruel Limits (Claustrophobia). Perhaps with Tinkerer, Bitter Murmur, & Lethal.
Final thought, it is impossible to enjoy a game when only half of all matches matter.
