Rework to Circle of Healing to make it more consistent with the other boons.

Circle of Healing has been the glaring that it was since day one because of it’s ZERO risks. The only downside it had was finding a totem and maybe the killer was running shattered hope (which barely anyone did). You could place CoH in the corner of map and just get the value for free meanwhile the other boons required you to find a good spot that you can bring the killer close to get value, however, that made the Boon easy to find/snuff without too much pressure loss for the killers. So, here’s my idea for a CoH rework:

“While inside of the Boon radius, you are unaffected by haemorrhage and you automatically heal 0.25/0.30/0.35% of your healing progress every second. You stay immune to haemorrhage for 60 seconds after leaving the Boon’s radius.”

this rework would encourage survivors to bring killer’s to the Boon like the other Boon perks, rewarding them chasing well if the killer leaves them by having a part of their healing progress already done while not making it atrociously strong in SWF.

It doesn't matter. CoH is already dead after last nerf. U don't need to change it. It won't be used either way

it’s far from dead, it definitely fell from grace, but it’s still extremely strong in coordinated play.

Here's a better idea... make the other boons more like CoH then give killers the ability to break boon totems base kit.

Let's be clear here... with a 14s setup time, your team need to get multiple uses out of a boon for it to be worth it. You will basically never get that on boons that need itself, a survivor, and a killer all in the same area. It'll just get snuffed. Or it's abusing elevation differences which is bad for other reasons.

while this could work, i think that partly kills the fun of Boons (for me personally), I think making the blessing faster at base but putting a temporary speed penalty for blessing after a totem is snuffed would make them more enticing (or maybe make snuffing a full second longer to give survivors more distance).

also base-kit totem breaking might lead to a pentimento meta, and god knows nobody wants to sit through gens with 27 extra seconds.

You like playing with perks that are useless outside of incredibly niche circumstances? What?

Also I don't see a problem with Pentimento becoming better. It's a good effect, but highly counterable since somebody on your team is guaranteed to know where it is. Killers being able to break a boon then light Pentimento without another perk isn't that crazy.

yes indeed, I enjoy running weird stuff because I am confident in my skills and enjoy variety instead of running the same things over and over because it makes me rely on them too much.

I like variety and off meta stuff too, but I have no interest in perks that basically require the stars to perfectly align to get value. Which is where most of the boons are sitting right now. And they can't really get buffed out of that spot because boon spots on upper floors exist that killers don't have reasonable ways of dealing with.

It's never just 14s. You don't spawn on totem. It can take you a short time if you happen to find totem, but this immediatelly goes to bin if you NEED to find totem - suddenly it can take minutes (in worst case) to find one.

Also even current CoH is somewhere on the map. You will most likely not be in it's radius - and if you are, your closest teammate will not be. If you need to travel for longer then 4-8s (depending on if you need to go back after heal or you continue in direction of boon, but most likely u will need to go back) on the map to get that heal, then you are better off not going to that boon and rather heal on that spot itself - and this totally ignores prep time.

Overall, boons can situationally be good. But you need stars to align perfectly. For this reason, it's the same as mettle of man - it can save the whole game on it's own, but chances are the perk will just take away some preperation time and give nothing back in return.
