Cenobite Chain Hunt Reset Bug

Killer: Cenobite
Map: any
Loadout: Jolt/No Way Out/Bamboozle/Brutal Strength

Bug: When downing a survivor that is carrying the Lament Configuration, the Chain Hunt timer sometimes resets instead of starting the Chain Hunt. It seems as though it is counting the killer solving the Lament Configuration as a survivor solving it. This only occurs when downing a survivor carrying the box. The function appears to be normal if the killer picks up the box off the ground. The bug seems to happen about 50% of the time. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether the survivor has attempted to solve or not prior to being downed. It just has to be in their possession when they're downed.
Steps to reproduce: load a custom game and have a survivor hold the box. Down them. The Chain Hunt will either start as intended or erroneously reset entirely.

This is the exact bug I encountered. Confirmed. So it doesn't seem map, add on, or loadout dependent. Specific to the Lament Configuration itself.
Devs: note that the bug is intermittent. Sometimes the Chain Hunt will start as intended with the same action shown in the video, and sometimes the bug in the video will occur.

IMPORTANT OBSERVATION
After testing with a friend, we've found it possible to force the reset bug. If the survivor holding the box jumps into a locker and is pulled out by the killer, the Chain Hunt will reset the moment box respawns, effectively allowing survivors a way to consistently end a chain hunt if the killer chases the box holder.
