Ruin still regressing gens after 1st death

Description: Like title. We played on RPD against a Bubba (facecamping ofc). The bubba also used Deadlock. Another player worked on a gen while i hold mine on 99. I noticed that my gen still regressed after the first player died. There were no sparks on the gen visible but the repair bar declined when i stood in front of it. I don't know if it is related to the gen being deadlocked some time before and being affected by ruin before.
Edit: also the Hex mark vanshished after the first player died
