Matchmaking is chaos
I recently started playing on ps5 just to get the platinum trophy for this game, I play on Xbox and have all achievements but I'm greedy for a platinum occasionally too.
Anyway, tonight I loaded into a lobby and I went against a player with 1100 hours. My account has 60 hours on it.
How's that fair on new players?
Now as I said, I play on Xbox and have 5,000 hours but what about legitimate new players? How are they supposed to cope against that?
I understand the logic of being thrown into the deep end and learning from games but there's only so much a new player will take before they say "yeah okay I'm done"
This is not the way to grow your playerbase

This game has no matchmaking. I chuckle anytime someone starts going on about how hard high MMR is when MMR doesn't even seem to exist.

Yep, MMR seems to be severly broken in this game in the name of short queue times. Can't let those top players wait for low level fodder to slaugther.
Proof of this is simple. In a good MMR system you will eventually reach an equiliberium point where you go 50/50 on your win/losses. In DBD you can easily lose 90% of your survivor games over hundreds of matches and never get easier matches.

Play Blight or Nurse only.
You will win a lot eventually

Played against these poor fellas when I've decided to play as a Huntress. It was painful to watch so I just let them go

i bet they was running around like chickens ready to be slaughter lol. I just dodge 0 to 3 level prestige players with default cosmetics. Feel bad to kill them

We suffer through MMR, and the new people it is meant to benefit dont even get the positives of it.

Even worse...

This is really bad advice. You will get used to the most busted stuff, and raise your account MMR beyond what you can take on with other Killers. It is better to only play in mainstream hours, and when the incentive is less than 100% for either side. That way the matchmaking is actually remotely effective, instead of prioritizing queue times over all else.

I was referring to survivor soloq. I have a relaxing 80% kill rate on killers I play. I just don't enjoy it as much. I end up feeling bad in how one sided the games are.
