A request for crossprogression
First of all I already read a lot of your posts that crossprogression for consoles is just not possible in the moment bc it is not in your hands.
But I need to say that even though I would love to just simply switch from ps4 to pc. I would also be super happy to just share my progress without dlcs. Just characterprestiges, rank, cosmetics, the rift etc. Maybe this would be possible? I mean I would buy all dlcs again just to switch on pc with all my stuff.
I hope you can give us some more information about this topic which is very important for a lot of people. Maybe on this post or a seperate one? Or even in the anniversary stream.(just some info about it even if they are not positiv)

Yes, agree completely. I recently changed platforms and the process would be alot less tedious if I could carry across at least some of my progress. My items, cosmetics, prestige levels, etc. If the DLCs are too complicated at this stage then that's fine, but surely we could get some of the smaller stuff.

That's because of issues regarding DLCs, which they've covered a few times. OP is asking about non-DLC cross progression

How do you know it’s related to DLCs only and not cross progression generally?
afaik we do not have that detailed info..

I don't know that it's "only" regarding DLCs, but from previous announcements they've made it seem that's the case. They haven't exactly addressed non-DLC progression, hence OPs question doesn't hurt to ask.
"The most recent comment from the team also came in January 2022, when Justin the Product Manager spoke of the issues, saying:
“So we put out a statement a few months ago but with all the technical aspects beyond our control, transferring DLC between platforms has not really been possible. We’re aiming to deliver the best, most consistent cross-progression experience we can, but unfortunately I’m not able to provide a clear ETA on when we can expect it for the Switch. We’re still trying to get things sorted out and as soon as we have a more concrete date to share, we’ll let you guys know.”

never said OP shouldn’t ask, I am actually for this. It just seemed like you had more knowledge here but you are just assuming.
that statement only relates to the issue with the Switch specifically if i understand correctly.
