Mouse not synced with in game character screen movements

Mouse is not synced with the movements on the screen, and the screen movements are delayed and choppy, the mouse input lags and unsynchronized with in game and creates movement issues. There's a noticeable delay between the physical movement of the mouse and the corresponding movement of the cursor on the screen which results in a lack of smoothness and responsiveness in the gameplay experience.
I'm not sure whether it's my system or the network.
