Blood Rush - a small tweak to make it a bit more consistant?

Hello

I wanted to pose this question after a recent thread I saw talking about Blood Rush. Essentially for anyone who might not know what it does, once you're on death hook - you press a button to become injured and broken for a period of 20s and if you are currently exhausted, you become 'unexhausted'. After those 20s pass, you become healthy again.

In a nutshell, it's essentially a reset chase perk button

Now I want to clarify - it's a reset chase perk button*

  • *If you are healthy
  • *If you are on death hook
  • *If you haven't already used it earlier in the trial (It has a strict once per trial limitation)

A perk with this much potential does need both a downside and some activation requirements, I 100% agree however I feel like all of these together is a bit overkill and severely limits the potential for play with the perk.

My suggested change: The death hook requirement is moved to being hooked once

I think out of all of the limitations on the perk, this is the one that stifles it being used. I'm sure many people have played games, win or lose where they never reached 2nd stage - be it because of how the killer played, how the survivors played and so on.

Would this make it too strong or unfair for the Killer? Ultimately probably not but I will say maybe 4 people running this with SB could be annoying. The perk would still have a strict once per trial limit and the killer will have feedback that they can react to just like they do now.

Thoughts?

I'd like to include some additional effects because I'm not using any (Exhaustion) perks
