Loading Game Bug

I’m on Xbox one.
I was loading into a match and became stuck on the loading screen. I thought someone disconnected so I didn’t think anything of it. After 5 minutes, I changed my battery because it has died, but after I reconnected my controller I actually LOADED INTO THE MATCH. However, I only loaded in after three gens were done and I was hooked twice. I wasn’t in the match and stuck in the loading screen even though the match was still happening
I don’t know if I can make it happen again except have my controller die at the exact time the game loads in. I’m not even sure if that’s what caused it.
It’s only happened once, but it’s a pretty crazy bug.
