Gamemode Idea: 1v1 Chase Trials
I've been thinking about the game and I wanted to suggest something, this gamemode has existed in the custom game format for ages and I wanted to request maybe a live version, as it would be really fun.
The Gamemodes premise is pretty simple, when queuing into this gamemode you choose a killer and a survivor beforehand with your choice of perks, certain perks like NOED for example would be disabled in this gamemode, to prevent m1 instant downs, and to prevent killers from picking them cause they wouldn't do anything, only chase/aura perks would be active. Hubris would probably be fine? It can get played around. The goal is to last longer in chase against the other player. Best of three rounds. After you have been out of chase for at least 20 seconds, your aura will be revealed for 3 seconds, repeating until another chase begins. The timer for a round would be 3 minutes.
There would be totems and such, and at the start of the match the killer will see the survivors aura for 10 seconds, can be added on by Lethal Pursuer to a full 22 seconds, the reason is that in this gamemode ideally, the killer will always start as far as possible from the survivor and the killer will have to cross the distance to get to the survivor, giving the survivor time to get an optimal spot to start with. This would likely have to be looked at a bit more to ensure balance, maybe giving the killer a 5% haste until the first chase starts? I don't know just yet, that would have to be tested.
Bloodpoint values will have to be adjusted in this gamemode a bit so it would be more worth it to play in the grinding sense, it would also be excellent practice.
