Anti-Tunnel/Anti-Camping suggestions
It is very hard to tackle this issue because if you buff survivors you are somewhat taking away their ability to kill however if you buff killers you will also need to find ways to nerf them or buff survivors in other ways. However first I think that The amount of time a survivor has on the hook should be increased (at least first stage), not too much because sometimes camping is used tactically especially in endgame situations however this might make more people want to leave to protect gens because the more time a killer is attached to a survivor the more time the other survivors have to do gens
My next suggestion is in my opinion hard to do but still a better option for keeping the game balanced and fun for everyone. First I want to say that no matter what anyone says this game is (at least slightly) survivor sided, and it’s survivor sided for a reason; there are much more survivors in the game and much more needed survivors so not only do the devs probably hear more about killer’s problems but they might be intentionally focusing on survivors because they are the ones you need much more numbers of. Now anyway I believe killers should be buffed when they don’t tunnel or camp or nerfed when they do tunnel or camp. For example (although this may sound like a survivor buff instead) if killer stays too close to a hook for a prolonged period of time then survivors do other gens faster (This should deactivate when there is a gen they are also checking, which could help three gens but that’s another issue for another time). Another example could be whenever the killers downs a different survivor in a pattern different from any of the survivors in the previous pattern then they get a buff most likely weakening gens. Although I don’t have good suggestions I do believe making killers want to not tunnel/camp would be a better change then making survivors better getting away from tunneling/camping because sometimes killers camp/tunnel strategically and it is also no fun to continuously take away the killer’s ability to kill when there is still Toolboxes, Flashlights, Stunning while carrying, and Gen rushing.
My last suggestion would be that if you do make it easier for the survivor to avoid it give the killer some base kit buffs too because for as long as I can remember they haven’t gotten any whilst survivors are being bombarded with them, for example you can make a small deadlock Basekit to combat genrushing or do something similar to ruin where if there are three+ survivors in your terror radius then make gens not being worked on regress automatically (Also take away ruins secondary action)
