why ggs?

i got curious, why at the end of the game most players write "ggs", not "gg"? I know that "gg" means "good game", but what does "s" in "ggs" mean?

    I say gg because that means “good game”. ggs means “good games” and that doesn’t make sense to say because you’ve only played one game with them.

    ggs just sounds better to some including me, the 's' doesn't stand for anything.
