The new anti camping feature

This feature is exciting to see if stops some unfun situations, but i see why might need tweaks and balance to not be abused.

But another simple suggestion to nerf camping is to remove healthy hook grabs.

Is this really just not an option?

It seems more simple to implement and not abusable since the killer still gets a trade, just looses the ability to camp 2 survivors.

They want to stop "face camping" which is apparently being within 16 meters of a survivor. Removing hook grabs doesn't fully address the issue as Leatherface, huntress and trickster can still sit there and deny unhooks with their power.

I am not saying to remove the feature. Just wondering why not go first for a more simple solution.

Yes, the new feature will help in situations like Bubbas, Huntresses or trickesters, but removing hook grabs would be easier to implement in the mean time and be more impactful for the majority of the play base, especially solo queue, because that is when i see hook grabs happening more often.

Unless I missed a patch note, this change won't happen right now but is planned for the future.

At the moment, given the high number of (dutiful) criticisms, I hope it will be tested a lot and for a long time in the PTB and radically changed from how it was presented

Why would they allow Survivors to be able to unhook next to the Killer without consequence?

The Killer isnt Face-camping when he leaves the hook anyway.

The real suggestion for the anti-camping feature is to put it live right now in whatever development state it is, it can't be worse than the live game no matter the bugs.
