Survivors seem slower

Normally I play killer but one of my friends wanted to play a round of survivor with me, and when I was running away from the killer (it was a huntress) my character seemed to have a very slow running speed and the hunterss was able to catch up and run in front of me and they admitted to not having bloodlust yet. Is anyone else noticing this?
