Increase the amount of BP gained for a teammate disconnecitng.
Yes, I honestly find no point in trying to continue a game if a player disconnects at 4/5 gens just because they got outplayed, the whole team gets punishment for their action, I would not want to increase dc penalties as some people do have valid reasons to leave a match such as their internet disconnecting or such.
Dc's at 4/5 gens almost guarantee the killer a win most of the time, where you can just play it out and wait for hatch or something boring like that, if BP Gain was increased least players would have a bit of encouragement to continue the game and not dc instantly after.

If a Survivor DCs or dies on hook extremely early, there should be a BP incentive to at least play the match out.
Or better yet, to just find ways to incentive playing the out match more. Since I just really want to play DBD for a single day without worrying about DCing/giving up.

It's the same thing when someone gets tunneled out at 4/5 gens. The core basis of the game is stagnant and unappealing. BP incentive won't help.

getting tunneled out is different though, i'm not sure exactly how but it's sort of less mentally aggravating. Atleast you know your teammate died by the killer and played the match out rather than instantly disconnecting.

BP you can get later but depipping is very annoying. Void the requirement for that match. Or, make is easier to get a pip because of a 3-member etc. party.

You're still at a major disadvantage unless the killer is almost brand new to the game at 4-5 gens left and 3 survivors.

I personally feel the turbo tunneling for a 3v1 is more aggravating. And it’s still one player ruining the potential fun other players could have. Why should survivors in this situation continue if they’re guaranteed to lose? No one wants to play a game where loss is imminent—that’s lunacy. But people do want to play games with reasonable odds of winning. Anyway I guess DC bots will somewhat alleviate the burden of a teammate who DCs.

I think this is a very important point. Disconnecting is a very big problem for survivors and killers. (survivors a bit more of course)
Killers loose a lot of BP and possibly a pip when a survivor disconnects in the early game. And survivors pretty much lose the chance to win.
So first of i would say if some one disconnects everybody in the game should get a save pip, so they dont down rank.
Then disconnects should count as 3 hooks for the killer. (only because of the pip)
And i would say to give killers and survivors a little bp bonus at the end of the match, maybe 10% or 20% because those matches loose a lot of of bp for both sides.
And maybe a little bonus of 1 or 2 percent for survivor things if some one disconnects, just the even the odds a little bit.
