Dredge - Stop with the darkness
There are a lot of killers that have unfun main perks... like Pinheads environmental chains.... but Dredge's darkness is over-the-top annoying. Survivors can barely see anything. They have to wait for what seems like an hour for the lights to get turned back on so the match can continue. There's no good strategy for it... its not avoidable... Its kind of like the survivor is being continuously belted with Clown's potions for a minute or however long it lasts (seems like forever), because the vision is almost completely gone.. I'm not asking you to NERF him. I'm asking you to give him a different power... just making everything extremely hard to see, basically just stops the match. It feels like the survivors are in a timeout, awaiting until they can see again.
When this killer first came out, I thought he was pretty cool. Love the locker teleportation... but after playing him a bit, this darkness thing has got to go. Stop turning off the lights. I want to play the game, not wait around for god to turn the lights back on. At the very least, you could introduce a mechanic that survivors could do to turn the lights back on... like Pinhead's box.. something... anything. Have I stated how annoying it is to hardly be able to see anything for the entire duration of this power? Quite. Bottom line is that this is a game and it is meant to be fun... I don't see how depriving someone of sight is fun. At least not for the survivors.

Can you still hold m1 in nightfall? Can you still see connected tiles with Windows?
Please stop trying to gut one of the last scary things this game has left.

In the darkness you are NOT meant to see things, for real.
Just memorize better, there IS counter, hell, there is basically NO actual penalty for survivors as long as they are competent enough.

fr. i desperately want dredge to be reworked. nightfall is an accessibility nightmare and losing chases because you can't see 2 inches in front of you feels like such #########, and i feel for newer players who have no clue where to go because nightfall is so overwhelming to them. nightfall was such a mistake. it's not scary (unlike what other people claim) it's just annoying. the "scare" factor would come if you truly didn't know where dredge is, but you can hear and see him from miles away, so it's not scary. getting downed because you couldn't get to a loop because you couldn't see it isn't scary, it's FRUSTRATING. it's just a bad power that fails at everything it wants to do except ruin new players games because they don't even have a chance of getting to somewhere safe that isn't accidental. nightfall is begging for a rework it's unreal. but everyone's blindsided by how cool dredge's design is and how "scary" dredge is, so bhvr think they put out a good designed killer so people with accessibility issues and newer players now have to suffer because the majority of the playerbase decided a mid killer is the best killer to ever exist. i hate this community
literally we have a killer that's too good against new players and horrible against good players and no one bats an eye because iT's ScArY!

Some of you seem to be missing the point of the post.
Dredge's nightfall is so dark that on TV screens, it becomes almost impossible to see anything, especially with a little screen glare from the sun or light in the room. And I mean literally anything, the whole screen just looks super dark and you can't see 2 meters in front of you.
It's just annoying, not actually scary. Also a problem if your monitor isn't cranked up to max brightness.
