Can Survivor’s Scream When Hooked Be Toned Down?

I ask this cause I think the hook screams go on for far too long. Also they give me and others a headache. I know others have talked about this but from my experience’s it’s a bit long and overbearing. I know this is bit weird to ask. So can we go back to the normal old shorter screams?

I don't really know why they changed it.
Survivors are such a drama queens now.
