Artist bird bug [XBOX]

I was playing artist on the new map and when I'd sent my bird out it got hit by nothing? My max bird count wasn't reduced but I could see the aura of the birds through walls like a normal hit with my bird. This was the first time I'd played this map so if it happens more I'll confirm that this is a consistent bug.
