Most, if not all linked sets can have unlinked heads. Please unlink original head cosmetics.
I really wouldn't mind linked sets if the heads weren't also linked. Having linked sets for torsos and legs makes sense, not all of them work paired with other cosmetics or don't divide nicely (like dresses or bodysuits or something). But heads??? I would say all of them work with any other cosmetic, I wish I could use say Kate's greek legends head, or Yui's upcoming Ikumi outfit head or Yun-jins Soul sights head.
As far as I know the heads generally aren't the issue, but for some reason are also linked. I don't mind having to get the whole outfit, I just want to be able to pair the heads with other cosmetics too. Pls bhvr 😁

Yeah, I don't understand them. I literally don't buy any original linked sets because of this. And would if they actually did it, they clearly don't want my money lol. 😥

As someone who frequently glitched the heads of linked cosmetics to other cosmetics (or the killer equivalent with the weapon) when it was possible, I agree.

Weapons definitely shouldn't be linked to many of the sets for killers.
I've glitched out countless set skins in my life and weapons never had any clipping issues.
Heads in many cases, when swapped, created cursed abnormalities, so in those cases i fully understand them being locked, but if skin doesn't change proportions of the main model and every element still aligns with the base when swapped, said cosmetic SHOULDN'T be a set.
Good example of it is the God of Desire for Trickster, which literally causes NO problems when swapping elements, even with the new animations of the skin.

Sets should be revisited, especially for killers, or at least they should think twice before locking a normal looking skin behind a set

Unfortunate that it's so backed up. As it's been a discussion for a long while now. I just wanna use Yui's dark racer hair or Kate's greek hair with other fits 😭 The potential is endless!

I didn't even think about killer weapons! Cause that's extremely true, probably the most unnecessary cosmetic to be linked.
