I was picked up by the Oni very shortly after being unhooked, my DS was active and I succesfully completed the skill check. I even had the secondary action available after the skills check which was "Helf-Self" because I was carrying a med-kit. So it appeared as I was able to break free from the killer's grasp however I was still being carried even thought I had the option to heal myself as I would be able to do if I was free. This resulted in being hung for the 2nd time and screwed our team over for that time period because I was going for a save if I could break free.
