Has there been an uptick in cheating since the new killer release?

It seems extremely bad tonight.

I just played x4 games in a row.

1st: Three anonymous named players (I am killer Trapper) and they are able to outrun me in a straight line, all three of the anonymous player, I cannot physically catch them.

2nd: I tried survivor and a nurse player with 0 perks was able to find me and my team mates while hiding and zero in on us with no information. I did not even manage to touch a generator before being tunnelled out of the game (It seemed from watching other team members POV that they had the same exact razor accurate pathing of the nurse directly to them.

3rd: I had a group of 3 people playing with each other on (killer Huntress) and even in bloodlust 3 I could not catch a NEA player at all, they just were moving too fast to catch. In the lobby after I accused them of cheating and they were very quick to tell me LOL LOSER LOOK AT MY PERKS BRO CAN'T YOU READ, YOUR SO DUMB!, basically pointing to Hope and Made for this. I will point out they did not take damage the entire game and were much too fast before the gens were completed, their friends also called me dumb for not being able to read the perks and gaslighting me about it, even though I know for a fact neither were active to explain the speed......

######### IS HAPPENING TO THIS GAME, are we just going to allow people with anonymous mode, hope and made for this a free pass to subtly cheat because of "plausible deniability?"

I am extremely annoyed, this has not been my experience until today, so I have to imagine there is some kind of free DBD cheat just come out or something......

Anyone else experiencing this nonsense?

Oh and all these people have private steam profiles.... of course.

    I’ve had experiences like this too. I feel like mft brought out the speed hackers. I almost wonder if a lot of the complaints about it are because of said hackers. I also had a Claudette hop into a locker, I opened it to find it empty, and then she proceeded to head on me from said locker.

    Yeah I’ve had this experience on both sides as well. Of course, I can’t prove anyone was cheating and I’m still fairly new to playing so don’t know all the perks and such but sometimes things just seem fishy…. I hope they just don’t punish regular players by trying to nerf things that ppl are attempting to use to cheat.
