When picking up the Lament Configuration, it sometimes just causes the chain hunt cooldown to reset. I once chased a Jane at the last 2 gens, hoping for a chain hunt so I can pick up the game (she was holding the box) and when I downed her, there was no chain hunt. Instead, the cooldown reset back to 90 seconds and started ticking down. Its a REALLY common bug which plagues Pinhead and it is not mentioned anywhere on the wiki, ingame or anywhere else.
